L'AUTEUR

Dessinatrice et styliste culinaire, Mathilda Motte a initialement reçu une double formation en histoire et histoire de l’art. En avril 2011, elle part vivre au Japon et se découvre une double passion pour la cuisine et la pâtisserie japonaises. Elle créé alors son blog «Cuisine en bandoulière», où elle propose une cuisine simple et créative, où l’influence japonaise se conjugue aux goûts et formes occidentaux. De retour en France, elle adapte à son tour les recettes nippones aux ingrédients locaux, créant ainsi une cuisine métissée profondément enracinée dans le terroir. Elle a ouvert "La maison du mochi", à Paris. Entre l'édition et la broderie, le choix n'a pas été évident.

Après dix ans passés dans l’édition Audrey Demarre décide de se consacrer à l'art du fil et, sans le savoir, suivre les pas de sa grand-mère couturière. Ses créations ressemblent à des histoires, tissées au fil de l’aiguille. Des univers cousus au gré du cœur, qui racontent un monde poétique et personnel. Cette femme aux doigts de fée mêle broderie colorée et délicates illustrations. Le Japon l’inspire particulièrement en lui permettant de créer de délicates broderies de pâtisseries.
